By accepting a quote from MPM Contracting, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Acceptance of Quote & Deposit
All quotes provided by MPM Contracting are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise.
Once you accept a quote, a deposit is required before any work is scheduled or materials are ordered.
No work will commence until the deposit has been received in full.
2. Payment Terms
The remaining balance is due within 7 days of job completion.
Payments can be made via bank transfer using the details provided on your invoice.
If payment remains outstanding for more than 30 days, a 20% late fee may be added to the total invoice amount.
3. Ownership of Materials
All materials supplied or installed remain the property of MPM Contracting until full payment has been received, including any applicable late fees.
If payment is not made within the agreed timeframe, MPM Contracting reserves the right, after giving reasonable notice, to access the site and remove any unpaid materials.
4. Site Access & Client Responsibility
The client is responsible for ensuring that:
Safe and reasonable access to the property is available at the agreed time.
All required permissions (e.g. body corporate, local council, or property owner approvals) are obtained before work begins.
The site is ready for works to commence (e.g. clear of obstructions, hazards, or vehicles).
Any delays caused by restricted access, unsafe conditions, or lack of permissions may result in rescheduling and/or additional charges.
5. Changes & Cancellations
Changes requested after a quote has been accepted may incur additional costs. Any variations will be discussed and approved in writing before proceeding.
If a job is cancelled after materials have been ordered or work has begun, the deposit will be forfeited and any costs incurred to date may be invoiced.
6. Warranties
All products and workmanship are covered under the relevant manufacturer and installation warranties supplied at the time of service. Warranty details will be listed in your quote or provided upon request.
Warranties are not valid if:
The product or surface is damaged through misuse, neglect, or alteration.
Any work has been modified or interfered with by someone other than MPM Contracting or its approved representatives.
7. Liability
We take all reasonable care on every job. However, MPM Contracting is not liable for:
Pre-existing structural issues or damage to the property.
Minor surface marks or damage that may occur as part of standard concreting or excavation processes (e.g. drilling, cutting, or movement of heavy equipment).
If you have concerns about any part of your property, please raise them with us before work begins.
8. Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern, please contact us immediately. We’ll do our best to resolve the issue quickly and fairly.
If a formal dispute arises, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before taking any legal action.
9. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. It’s your responsibility to review the latest version before accepting a new quote.
